Ian Cunningham

Ian was born in London but later moved to Tenerife with his family where he attended school. Since then Ian has always been interested in the sea and boats and was often found freediving and catching the occasional octopus. From sixteen Ian lived on various boats whilst they were being refitted; this also lead to taking part in many yacht deliveries.

Ian's work life has been interesting and varied, including a self employed role at Sunseekers Poole and a role in Libya working for the National Oil Company, rebuilding Gas and Oil Separation engines. He has also been involved in fitting Endothermic heating solutions whilst maintaining Solar farms on the Isle of Wight.

Outside of work Ian enjoys spending time with his two amazing daughters and has his own solar lithium boat to look after.
